United Nations Country Team - UNCT                                                                                    Restricted Access!

One leader is the United Nations Country Team (UNCT) comprising of heads of UN agencies/programmes/funds coordinated by the Resident Coordinator (RC) that lead the One UN by consensus. They meet regularly to discuss and decide on One UN issues and processes. In order to ensure a strong “One Leader” a strengthened RC office supports the execution, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of the reform process and cohesive and effective implementation of the One Programme .The One Leader  advocates for the One Programme with the government, donors and development partners to ensure that there is alignment and strategic integrated intervention towards development and/or humanitarian assistance. It also ensures that the UN speaks with One Voice for the benefit of the people of Pakistan.
