Education
Development of Pakistan's education system needs to be addressed within a holistic systemic framework. Improvements in access and quality of education should be brought about in all sub-sectors i.e., pre-primary education, primary education, middle and higher levels, adult literacy, and technical and vocational education. However, priority needs to be placed on under-served and disadvantaged groups (e.g. poor communities in rural and remote areas, especially girls and women). The participating agencies work together to address the challenges in the Education sector by focused interventions in the following four joint programming components:
  • Pre- And Elementary Education
  • Adult Literacy And Non-Formal Basic Education
  • Education System Strengthening
  • Secondary Education With a Focus on TVE & Life Skills
