One Fund is a single financial management for donors and UN entities for the joint programmes and its components. An MoU has been signed by all UN agencies/programmes/funds operating in Pakistan to establish the Fund and assigning UNDP as the Administrative Agent. The Administrative Agent is responsible for the management of the fund. The budgetary framework is managed by the Resident Coordinator Office and includes agreed and costed results for each joint programme presented in one financial framework, showing each UN entity’s planned input together with funding source (core and donor funded). As the activities are executed the agencies will provide information on progress against planned results and actual expenditure.

The One Fund allows the donors to fund the development process holistically to ensure that expenditure is evenly spread to address all development needs and in line with the government of Pakistan’s development priorities.
